Padding error

2 September 2010 No Comments Michelle Reese

Dear bra makers:
Since when did you put padding in nursing bras?
I am the mom to a charming, sweet month-old baby. The last few weeks of my life has been consumed with feeding this little one. And while I love the design of nursing bras for the most part, this is one serious flaw I don’t recall from the last time I nursed an infant.
Come on. I’ve gone up two bra sizes in the last month. Do you really think I need padding? And have you tried to get that front, padded panel out of the way to make room for the very mobile, “I have no patience” mouth of a hungry infant? It’s not easy and can make for one frustrated mommy (and baby). I can’t imagine if I had twins.
While I appreciate your effort try to appeal to a woman’s psyche, right now, that’s not what I need. I’m perfectly happy with my shape and size.
Thanks for the good intentions and a lesson learned: online shopping is good for groceries, baby wipes and diapers.
But I think I’ll make my intimate apparel purchases in person from now on.
