One element that can make a photo look interesting is the use of repetition. I found this row of stalls while shooting a horse show in Gilbert that created a nice pattern, especially when the pattern is broken up by a person walking through the frame.

A while back I mentioned that photographers spend a lot of time looking at other photographers’ work. Sometimes this manifests itself in our own work, intentionally or not. While photographing the reopening of the renovated Rhodes Pool in Mesa I framed up the shot below.
