Quite a conflict has risen from two idealistic viewpoints in the world of first-person shooter video games. One group states that campers — players who stay in one spot during the entire game — are annoying pests without an ounce of gaming talent. However, campers insist they are playing intelligently and that runners are reckless and stupid. While animosity is present on both ends, my personal experience tells me that runners are always on the offensive, both literally and figuratively, and are constantly frustrated with gamers who camp.

A side mission is Saint’s Row the Third has your character streaking around the city in order to gain experience points and this is tame when compared to the rest of Saints Row. When I was a younger gamer I had a hard time getting new games. I had to rely mostly on birthdays, holidays, and the kindness of my parents for new games to sink my teeth into. Gamers rejoice: Devastation is coming to the Phoenix Convention Center.
The annual video game tournament and convention will kick off Thursday with an exclusive preview event and run through Sunday night. A full schedule can be found at the event website, but expect tons of Madden, Mortal Kombat, Gears of War, Halo Reach, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the like.
