Give a hand to Batman co-creator, Bill Finger
We all know that artist and writer, Bob Kane, created Batman, right? Well, partially right. By Kane’s own admission (in his autobiography), the less flamboyant creator, Bill Finger, had a rather large hand in the conception of the Dark Knight character.
Mr. Finger wrote a huge amount of the early Batman stories (he also co-created the Green Lantern) and was largely responsible for the character’s look, his origin, Commissioner Gordon, Gotham City, numerous villains and the famous Batmobile.
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Batman and the centennial birthday of the late Bill Finger (born February 8, 1914), Dr. Travis Langley (aka the Superherologist) and the Comic Arts Council have plans to produce a documentary film about the unsung creator, and they could use your help.
Please take a look at their Kickstarter page to learn more about Finger and the planned film about his life.
