Arizona State Fair beams down Star Trek exhibition
What do Star Trek and Fried Twinkies have in common? No, not William Shatner … but if you guessed the 2013 Arizona State Fair, then you are correct! This year the fair is going to be hosting Star Trek: The Exhibition, described as “one of the largest collections of authentic Star Trek artifacts and information ever put on public display.”
The exhibit covers the entire Star Trek universe, from the five television series to the eleven feature films, and this is your opportunity to see authentic props, costumes and other artifacts up-close and personal. This museum-style experience even includes the full-scale USS Enterprise bridge set from the original television series, plus a photo opportunity with Captain Kirk’s chair.
To explore the exhibit, get transported to the 2013 Arizona State Fair from Friday, October 11 to Sunday, November 3, 2013 (closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.) Admission for Star Trek: The Exhibition is an additional $5.00 over your separate Fair ticket, children 5 and under are FREE with paid adult admission.
