When one thinks 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the first thing that comes to mind is usually not the desert of Old Tucson in Arizona, but with their third “Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention” the Arizona Steampunk Society is out to prove that when it comes to Victorian fantasy, anything is possible.

From March 7th – 9th, 2014, at Old Tucson, Arizona, the eclectic group of local Steampunk enthusiasts known as the Arizona Steampunk Society (steamaz.com) will host the “largest western-style Steampunk convention in the United States”, with the theme of this year’s show being “Land vs. Sea.”

The Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention III (wwwc3.com) will include Steampunk vendors, a fashion show, the Steampunk Ball, concerts, street performers, special events, photo opportunities, a costume contest, panels, workshops, crafts, rides, films, games (including Victorian-style gambling) and more fantasy fun than you can shake an aether-charged stick at.
