Princess Leia arrested on a diplomatic mission to…New York?

14 July 2010 No Comments Dustin Diehl

Improv Everywhere has done it again; confused, bewildered and delighted unsuspecting citizens of New York City. Their last stunt (involving a recreation of the opening scene from Ghostbusters at the New York Public Library) captured the attention of the entire country, garnering well over 2 million views on YouTube.

Yesterday, they released the video of their latest mission: a reenactment of the opening scene from Star Wars: A New Hope on the New York subway!

Enjoy this kind of stuff? You don’t have to go all the way to New York to participate. Arizona’s very own ImprovAZ organizes similar improv events, often in conjunction with Improv Everywhere. From Epic Super Hero Battles to the now infamous No Pants Ride, check out ImprovAZ.com for the latest mission info.
