Microsoft raising cost of Xbox LIVE service

30 August 2010 No Comments Jayson Peters

Starting Nov. 1, the price of a one-year Gold subscription to Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE service will go up by $10, to $59.99. A three-month Gold subscription will go from $19.99 to $24.99. A one-month Gold membership will cost $9.99, up from $7.99.

U.S. gamers can actually come out ahead if they act fast and take advantage of a special offer: one year for $39.99. The offer will be gone come midnight Oct. 31.
