There’s a lot going on this week at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles, and I’m sadly not where the action is. But here’s a roundup of the big announcements from Monday and Tuesday.

E3: Nintendo’s Wii U will redefine hand-eye coordination

Nintendo unveiled the successor to its Wii console on Tuesday, introducing the Wii U. Most noticeable about the hardware is a controller with a 6.2-inch screen built in that will allow a family’s TV to be used while a game is being played, or provide alternate display modes when used in tandem with a television set.
