Springfield Punx is a terrific blog by Dean T. Fraser, in which the artist takes the unique style of The Simpsons and applies it to characters and celebrities from other media, like comics and sci-fi television.

Last week was devoted to the most recent season of Doctor Who starring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, which has already ended in the UK but is still under way Saturdays on BBC America.

I think Fraser nails both sources perfectly, and this makes me want to see The Simpsons riff on the classic British sci-fi franchise even more than it has in the past. We can only hope!
