Feds can now slip a tracking device on your car, in your own driveway, without a warrant
According to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which covers nine Western states including Arizona and California, it’s perfectly fine for the government to send agents onto your property to secretly plant a GPS tracking device on your vehicle and follow your movements — all without a search warrant. That’s because, according to a panel of three judges, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in your driveway, and no reasonable expectation that the government is not tracking you.
Huh?
The January ruling, upheld this month and reported by TIME magazine, pertains to a 2007 investigation of an Oregon resident who was suspected of growing marijuana.

If its the truth, on topic and clean,
whats the problem ? Has it got something
to do about keeping the topic away from the

I was just asking if the loss of private
property may change the views on other losses.
Will we loose the right to have privacey about
our own bodies ? Can they sneak a chip into
us some where when we’re not looking ?
If its that simple, to sneak onto private
property without a warrant, whats next ?

Useing the reasons:
You have no reasonable expectation of privacy on your
private property.
and
No reasonable expectation that the government is not
tracking you;
As a long time member of “WE THE PEOPLE” I ask.
When a Doctor has opened your body to repair it,
have you given up your right to personal privacy ?
Useing this reasoning that you have no reasonable
expectation that the government is not tracking you;
Do they have the right to insert a tracking chip ?
I’m not trying to stir up trouble. I just want to know
how far this reasoning can go.

Dinosr, you do realize that cities and States are now buying vans equipped with the same body imaging scanners used at airports, don’t you? They will be able to drive down any street and scan at will and unknown to any it’s path.
btw: those scanners performed at the airports? They are saved, kept and stored contrary to first reports. Where, by whom and why are good questions.
