VX Q and A: Todd Peat
Todd Peat is one of the highest-ranked recruits in the state. The Corona del Sol senior defensive lineman has pared his prospective college list down to eight, and plans on making his decision in January. We recently caught up with him to talk about soul food, taking Spanish again after two years off, and Donald Trump.
Class you dread the most: Spanish 3 and 4. I haven’t taken Spanish since my freshman year.
Career aspirations: I either want to be a sportswriter for ESPN or a coach.
Most embarrassing moment in sports: My first day of varsity practice freshman year, one of our linebackers punched me and knocked me out in front of everybody.
Reality TV show you’d be on: I’d like to be on “The Real World.”
Song you’d sing on “American Idol”: Probably something by Anthony Hamilton.
What would you eat for your last meal: Something my grandmother makes. Soul food.
One food you refuse to eat: Nothing.
One possession you can’t live without: My Blackberry.
Favorite city to visit: San Diego
One person you’d love to switch places with for a day: For one day? I’d like to switch places with Donald Trump.
