Upon quick glance, the Zane Zamenski situation at Corona del Sol appears to have been resolved, following the release of a letter from the Tempe Union School District late Thursday afternoon concluding their investigative findings.
Case Closed?  Not a chance.
The letter released by the district was full of vagaries, and empty on specifics regarding the scope of their investigation, and what courses of action are being taken as a result of their finding (which confirmed repeated use of inappropriate language). Xavier junior Sarah Schmelzel broke the women’s course record at Kansas City Country Club with a 2-under-par 68 on Thursday to finish in second place in the Lockton Kansas City Junior, an American Junior Golf Association tournament.
Schmelzel shot a 75 and 74 in the first two rounds, respectively, for a three-day total of 217, one shot behind winner Jordan Lippetz from Bradenton, Florida.
The Lockton Kansas City Junior was a 54-hole stroke play tournament. The tournament field consisted of 99 boys and girls ages 12-18 from 16 states and Thailand. The …
