EV schools/sports submitted appeals
There were nearly 500 appeals among member schools and sports submitted to the AIA in the past 10 days.
This hoard of requests comes on the heels of the Executive Board passing a bylaw last month allowing schools to petition up or down a division (or, in rare cases, more than a level) in any given sport by any school for the 2013-2015 scheduling block.
Appeals will be heard by the respective sport’s advisory committee, will be finalized Nov. 19 and final division placements will be made public Nov. 20.
