Chantel Osahor and Courtney Ekmark have picked up right where they left off last season.

The dynamic duo led the way as the St. Mary’s girls basketball team captured the NGS Basketball Invitational championship with a 76-50 win over Chandler on Saturday in Page. Ekmark, who is verbally committed to Connecticut, had 37 points against the Wolves, while Osahor had 16 rebounds and 12 assists, according to coach Curtis Ekmark.

Courtney Ekmark had 33 points in the first half alone in a 60-25 win over Page in the semifinals, Curtis Ekmark said.

The Knights are 5-0 and heavy favorites to win the Division I state championship.
