Campo Verde girls soccer to receive national honor
Campo Verde High School will be presented with the Army National Guard national ranking trophy as part of the second annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions for girls soccer.
The ceremony will take place on Friday, April 12 at 11:45 a.m. in the school’s gym.
Campo Verde, who finished the season nationally ranked in the final MaxPreps Freeman rankings, is one of only ten schools (out of 10,000) being honored in the annual Girls’ Soccer tour being run by the Army National Guard.
The Coyotes went 23-1 and won the Division III state championship, the first team sport state title in school history.
